Residential - Mirrored Doors

These are new construction mirrored beveled glass doors made in collaboration with Jerry Wilson.

New Construction, Beveled, Mirrored Doors. This pair of sliding bath doors is very unique. The two doors have identical mirrored patterns. They feature a 1¼" wide bevel on ¼" plate mirror. Four sets of identical beveled mirrors were cut for this project. The dramatic beveled edge mirror shows on both sides of the door. This is accomplished by layering two identical pieces together for each individual segment of each door. The ½" thick mirror "quarries" are framed in heavy zinc rails and are fitted very tightly together. The mirror backs are specially treated to eliminate moisture problems. This construction is very heavy and works well in the sliding door assembly.
